Onboarding New Members to the Co-op

  1. New members express interest by filling in the Interest Form.
    1. The responses to the interest form are here.
    2. Maybe: this interest form gets turned into a mailing list.
  2. Every month we schedule two onboarding meetings, in the second half of the month, on two different days:
    1. ideally a weekday evening and a weekend day.
    2. Make sure at least one person is available for each of these
  3. Send out an email to the interest form announcing these two days.
    1. Email should include a way to sign up to the events
      1. TODO: make sample forms. Or is there another format. 
    2. Should link to:
      1. Membership agreement
      2. FAQ
  4. Send a reminder email about the onboarding event a day before it happens
  5. At the event
    1. Have a sign in sheet
    2. Give orientation
    3. Have a QR code for people to sign up to pay dues.
    4. Link to the membership agreement form
    5. Have a print out of the task sign ups for this month and the next month
      1. People can sign up right there.

    6. Note thoughts and feedback
  6. After the event
    1. Note who attended in the interest form.
    2. Send everyone
      1. Pay dues
      2. Shopping times
      3. Task sign up spreadsheet
      4. WhatsApp invite
      5. Add them to the google group
