Onboarding New Members to the Co-op

  1. New members express interest by filling in the Interest Form.
    • The responses to the interest form are here.
    • Maybe: this interest form gets turned into a mailing list.
  2. Every month we schedule two onboarding meetings, in the second half of the month, on two different days:
    • ideally a weekday evening and a weekend day. Suggestion is Wednesday evening and Sunday evening.
    • Make sure at least one person is available for each of these
  3. Send out an email to the interest form announcing these two days.
    • Email should include a way to sign up to the events
      • TODO: make sample forms. Or is there another format. 
    • Should link to:
      • Membership agreement
      • FAQ
  4. Send a reminder email about the onboarding event a day before it happens
  5. At the event
    • Have a sign in sheet
    • Give orientation
    • Have a QR code for people to sign up to pay dues.
    • Link to the membership agreement form
    • Have a print out of the task sign ups for this month and the next month
    • Note thoughts and feedback
  6. After the event
    • Note who attended in the interest form.
    • Send everyone the following
      • Dues payment info 
      • Shopping times
      • Task sign up spreadsheet
      • WhatsApp invite
      • A link to sign up to this wiki
    • Add them to the google group
    • Add them as a customer in Airtable
    • Update member tracker
